AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • -After you remove the Derma Shield, wash your hands, then gently wash the tattoo with the Vitalitree Cleanse I provided. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean paper towel (Do Not Rub).

  • -Apply a small amount of Vitalitree salve 3 times a day for two weeks. The tattoo should not look wet or greasy. Less is more.

  • -After two weeks switch to a fragrance-free lotion and apply 2-3 times a day as needed.

Additional Care Tips

  • -Do not submerge the tattoo in water (baths, pools, hot tubs, lakes, ocean) for at least 2 weeks. Showers are fine.

  • -Avoid direct sun exposure while healing. Once healed, always use sunscreen to protect the tattoo.

  • -Avoid tight clothing, excessive sweating, and heavy workouts that cause friction on the tattoo for the first 7-10 days.

  • -Do not pick, scratch, or peel the tattoo while healing.

  • -Some redness, swelling, and light peeling is normal. If you notice excessive redness, warmth, pus, or signs of infection, contact me or seek medical advice.
